2 x 2km, 1 x 1km with 3mins stand rest in between.
On the bike path down the bottom so out was always a bit downhill but the second km in the 2ks is back uphill.
Plan was 4:05 pace, 4:00 and then anything under for the 1km. Didn't feel too hard which was nice.
Lovely arvo out.
Splits: 8:10, 8:00, 3:47.

Descending ladder 1000m, 800m, 600m, 400m, 200m at the track with roughly 2:30 rests.
Plan was faster each rep.
Felt glute a little towards the end, more discomfort than pain though.
Always a big headwind on the home straight here.
Splits: 3:50, 3:02, 2:15, 1:25, 38.

Nice to relax and process everything.
Lots of dogs, a couple of hidden fairy gardens, a pretty sunset and a massive moon.
Glute a bit funny again so sticking to flat concrete for the moment to see if it will pass.
