And then we caught the ferry back.
Quite hot but was okay and the ice blocks we got 1k from the end didn't melt while we ran the last bit :-)

Christmas Parkrun!
Really nice morning, felt good even though a woke up super tired.
Think I should've started faster because I still had some left at the end.
Really fun!

Walk/jog back as rec and on a slight incline.
Feel like after 100m I have nothing left and no leg muscles, except for the last one I could push better to the end - now just to get that feeling for the rest!

Intraining speed session
2 x 3 x 400m as a relay with a big break in between so lots of waiting around.
Team won the first one so we were handicapped last by about 1:40 for the second but we gained a few places back. Was running third leg at the same time as Emily on the first one which was good, but struggled to push myself on the second one where I was by myself and in a gap.
Not feeling very fast at the moment, struggled to get the leg turnover and got very lactic very soon.
Not really a hard session but lots of fun.
Splits: roughly 1:22, 1:24, 1:23; 1:26, 1:27, 1:27
