With Zoe through the burbs to Anzac park, over to Slaughter falls then up powerful and along the top and back down the usual way. Got real dark with about 10km to go. Really glad to have her with me. Cooler when it got dark too and lots of giggles.

Track session with Zoe at the grass track.
15 x 200m with 30s standing rec.
Good session, quite easy mentally as it felt really short. Kept it controlled aiming for 44-45 for the first 8 and then 42-43 for the rest with last one fastest.
Nice morning, quite humid but not hot. Felt like I was losing speed from the kick back a bit so a bit of focusing on keeping it going and keeping form good. And then accelerating fast as well, though not too too fast. Fun session.

Speed Session with Zoe.
Biiiig session - Pyramid of 1km/2/3/2/1 with 2mins standing rec.
Went well, beaut morning though quite humid. Lots of people and dogs out from about half way so a bit of zigzaging, a dog was running beside me and barking really loudly in the second 2km which got me to run a bit faster !
A bit faster than it probably should've been but the first two didn't feel too bad and pace ended up being consistently apart for the second half, maybe I'm just getting faster!
New shoes were super light and fast and really nice and cushiony, really really liked them.
Gorgeous sunrise this morning too!
