Smokey sunrise run with Felicity out to the lighthouse then down and along Tallows with views of the fireball and back through a really nice single track in the dunes/dry swamp.
Pretty sniffly and head not great bc I caught the kids’ cold but didn’t feel too bad and the good views and company made the time fly by.

Byron bay intervals with Felicity
3 x 1km uphill and a stair run up from the most easterly point to the lighthouse. First 2 x 1km from bottom and third from half way with bigger gradient. Hill rep about 700m.
Felt pretty good, but breathing is still a problem, feels high and tight and sounds wheezy all the time. Form needs work too, esp glutes.
Long recoveries and gorgeous sunrise views over the ocean, was a really nice run!
Splits: 4:20, 4:28, 4:59, 5:07
Reps intensity 5 but long recoveries so logging as 4.

Intraining Speed Session
Handicap ladder of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1km with recoveries of jogging to the next start and waiting for the handicap so a bit random time wise (3, 6:30, 9, 8:10 ish mins)
Struggled in the 4 and slowed a lot to the end because I was handicapped last for that one because of a shuffle. Breathing was very high and tight, not good.
Really fun session!
Splits: 35, 78, 2:05, 2:48, 3:47
