JWOC Sprint
Not great, some big things and some smaller things. Not a reflection of my sprint form from May which is frustrating.
Missed running through the gap and small path to 5 because I was confused by the oob tape in the area, it turns out that there were two different pieces of tape and the small path came between them but as I was running I didn’t see the break in the tape and went the whole way around. Knew that race was over then but tried my best to keep pushing for the rest of it.
Also went down the wrong road going to #16 and got confused, just another split second of distraction which costs a lot.
A few more hesitations and bad route choices lost me a lot of time. Also felt like I couldn’t push at all, feet were landing on heel so basically braking every step so not fast from that as well.
Not in the right place mentally going into the race which obviously wouldn't help things either.
Fun course and area though!

1 min easy, 1 min walk, 1 min effort.
Testing foot on sprint model.
Not good, shouldn’t have done this because it made me feel worse about myself which is not what I needed right now.

Mona fartlek
Foot still sore so have had to change my week’s plan and not going to be running before the races which is not ideal but I know my orienteering training’s been good enough to get me where I want to be in the races, so not too worried.
Lake was so nice, I could see my toes the whole time!!!
Cold and windy so lots of waves but gotta do what you gotta do.
Actually really enjoyed it

Ravinens Trekvällers Etapp 2 Middle
Really good again except for one control where I got ahead of myself.
Men det gick ganska bra. Kändes stark i terräng och det va bra tekniskt också. En stor bom som händes nar jag tankar för snabbt och inte på vad gjorde jag nu. Så jag åkte tillbaka till var jag hade kommit ut från de blå och stoppade och förstod kartan före börjar igen. Det tog mycket tid, jag behövde göra något annan tidigare - stannar och förstår först. Jag visste vad handel men jag visste inte vad skulle bli rätt sak att göra. Sen efter gick bra igen, tankar inte på vad hade varit, bara på vad gjorde nu så det dar va bra också.
Sista tävling i Sverige och det var trevligt, jag kommer att sakna här mycket.

Ravinens Trekvällers Etapp 1
Really good, excited for tomorrow.
Just the first 20mins then back, keeping it short and focusing on starting the race well.
Mistake on #3 then corrected then rushed after finding another control so lost even more.
But starting was good, feeling relaxed and focused so a tick there.
