Heaaaaps better than yesterday. Just a lot more controlled, thinking straight and actually navigating.
Wasn't into it yet at #1, so lost time as didn't orienteer well here, not using features etc. Rushed out of #6 so going to #7 wasn't good - didn't know what I was doing. Just too high for #8 so lost 3mins because I knew I was in the right spot but couldn't find it.
In general good, but definitely over cautious and slow because of this. But I would much rather that than yesterday's disaster!

Running leg 6.1 for team 2.

Started okay, then clearly my head was not screwed on at all. Cooked the first one absolutely horribly and then also 4 other controls.
Only started orienteering properly for the last 3 controls.
Just was not thinking or orienteering at all and everything went to shit. Was being super stupid. Think I got flustered by all the people and then couldn't pull my head in.
So frustrated at myself.

Not as good a sesh as last time, not super well structured (kinda felt like he was making stuff up as we went along sometimes haha) but still good. Need to do this more bc felt super weak and can't keep good form up very well.
Cold out but fun with the others.

Fun, just easy. A couple of time I should’ve been more disciplined with compass and ignoring tracks.
Super nice course though - bit of a scenic tour along the water which was beaut!

Mass start forked training at Stockby.
Fun and forest was nice. Got dropped straight away though because I was not thinking quick or switched on at the start and then before I even got into the forest I was only with one other girl, with whom I played cat and mouse with a bit so was good to see where I was losing time.
Good to have to push the whole time and concentrate because there was quite a lot of us out there and heaps of controls out too.
