Fun until it got boring because by half way the course had covered just about the entire map. Also was a bit fed up with controls probably being in not quite the right spot.
But a lovely day for it!

Qld Sprint champs on new map of The Gap schools.
Really good map and awesome courses so was a lot of fun and challenging. Decent run, but needed to have gotten my head into it before I started. Was very disorientated at the start. Just wasn't thinking quick enough so lost time on #6-8 because I wasn't reading ahead enough and same for #16-18. Also took time to pick a bad route choice on #16 so that wasn't great.
But heaps of fun.

Stomach felt absolutely disgusting from late lunch (because I was stuck in rehearsals 930-230) so very very slow which was frustrating.
Hard to read map in the dark at the end too.

Spent the day taping sites at Mt Crosby and foot was sore afterwards so didn't run. Assembly area there is super nice, but a shame the map is a bit disgusting at the moment. Lovely views from the tops of the hills though!

3 x 2km with 5mins rec. Each rep meant to be 10s faster than the last.
My pacing was okay but ran the second two reps faster than intended because was more with the group as opposed to being way behind. Reps weren't marked out super accurately so we just went off gps distance.
