Toohey Forest training
Compass and control picking.
Very beneficial. Compass stuff was similar to the other day with blanks on the map. Still took it slow to make sure I did it properly but I definitely noticed improvement once I woke up properly. Control picking was in lots of 5 with a break to re group in between. Different starts for each group of controls. Time includes breaks etc.
Good training. So many sticky spiders webs today though!

Really good map and course, was a lot of fun. A couple of hesitations but otherwise was pretty clean. Just need to plan ahead more.

Very easy stretching.
Calf is still a bit sore from Wednesday.
So tired today, after a long week and increasing less sleep throughout so called it a rest day, not that I would've had any time to do training anyway.

Compass training at Stockyard Creek.
Found this really really beneficial, was so good!
The last few were a bit of a mess, I think just from being tired and losing concentration. Forced myself to go slowly and do it properly which was really good. Noticed myself slouching a fair bit, especially towards the end so will need to keep working on this a lot more.

Knew it was going to be a bit of a slower one, body is feeling pretty tired after actually having to do stuff this week.

Such a nice night out tonight!! Took it pretty easy especially at the start because I hadn't warmed up. Added an extra loop at the end because I figured it would be worth more than the points I would lose coming back late from it. Good to finally get out and do something too, after spending the past two days siting in classes all day!
