Orienteering (Midweek O) 1:09:11 [3] 7.8 km (8:52 / km) +142m 8:08 / km
slept:9.0 shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 18

Midweek from Cicada park around Cootha.
Took it super easy as it was stupidly hot and I know that Cootha is rough and steep. Hip got quite painful, will be keeping an eye on it and taking it easy. Thinking it may be from the shoes. Had a good time though and was nice to be out.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1.0 km (10:00 / km) +5m 9:45 / km
slept:8.0 shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Running 27:29 [3] 5.25 km (5:14 / km) +38m 5:03 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Easy run around.
Was going to be longer but had a few niggles and just wasn't super into it so cut it short. Negative splits until the last one where a car was driving super slow as I was trying to cross and I had to stop and wait for it to go.
Nice arvo, but I don't think that chocolate slice is the best pre run food though.

Orienteering (Night Nav) 41:45 [3] *** 7.31 km (5:43 / km) +23m 5:37 / km
15c slept:8.5 shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Nightnav at Rainbow Forest.
Was going really well until control #8 where I had no one with a torch within sight so there was nothing reflecting off the control and I basically had to be within 10cm of the control for the light on my phone to catch the reflectors. #11 was the worst one, because I took the longer route back around to get to the little path it was on which was fine but then I must've run past the control on that path about 5 times without seeing it, before Anna finally came and found it with her torch. I lost at least 5 minutes on that one. #13 was kinda similar, just right next to it but couldn't see it. Fell onto a massive pillow of really long grass just before crossing the freeway back which was funny but super itchy and stingy. This course would've been a good one to take a torch, I guess I'm just used to not needing one and being able to use the streetlights. Goal was to keep up to Laurina but that failed a bit at #11, next time. A really nice night out though.

Swimming 10:00 [3] 0.3 km (33:20 / km)

Such a nice cool down!
