Thought this was a good way to get the legs stretched out. Drizzle. Nice course though, wide trail gravel paths for most of it, undulating, then the last 500m are single track and feel more like an MTB trail.

Started steady but after halfway my competitive side took over and I started to overtake people.

Still can't shake this cold but it's fine whilst I'm running.

Testing out potential Ramsay shoes.

They're basically roclites that should work in the rain. Tbh they felt a bit big, but for an ultra shoe this is probably no bad thing as feet should swell over time.

They don't have the out of the box comfort of some of my other shoes so we'll see. I learnt at the running shop that Nvii use the same butyl rubber as VJ, so their range is defo worth a look in future.
