Was expecting this to be much easier than the Dozen which I did at the beginning of January...it wasn't. The 25ish degree temperature probably didn't help. Most of the climbs and a lot of the descents too are all up cloughs with streams and really rocky and technical; lots of climbing.
Got a bit lost a couple of times, and followed the track from Upper Ashop rather than the wall as couldn't see a trod - but looked like one started after 100m or so whereas I missed out on that and had lots of heathery stuff to contour over for ages.
Last couple of hours were a mental struggle since had only been planning for a 4-5 hour run... Nearly gave up until I realised I was basically at the furthest away point. Ran out of water after 4 hours or so and so tried a lot of the streams. Hopefully won't die.
Retrospectively - good fun. Am wrecked now though.
