Running - Road/Track tempo (MaccH Virtual Marathon L1) 42:43 [4] 10.62 km (4:01 / km) +85m 3:52 / km
ahr:151 max:160 shoes: Pegasus 35 (white)

Virtual marathon in a team of 4 B group leaders - managed faster than the other 3 so that was alright. Route not as flat as I expected! Put quite a lot of effort in. After an hour or so of stretches, felt ok for this.

Running - Trail tempo (MaccH Handicap Reverse) 3:21:32 [4] 33.23 km (6:04 / km) +1325m 5:03 / km
ahr:141 max:165 shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 290 (blue)

Another one of Julie's challenges. Started at Lamaload so had 5k (hilly) jog there first, and 6k jog home again.

2:04:11, which is faster than my 2:10:45 for the race, although that was 2.5 years ago. Lots of differences other than the temperature (25ish today; got by with 500ml), lost 3 mins on the actual getting lost; lost at least 1 and maybe 2 this time getting chased by cows. Also didn't have to go to the pub in Langley which is the usual start, there's at least a minute there and maybe two. So I think I was faster still, but marginal.

Right glute a bit sore, something on my right side is very low-key broken. A massage would probably sort it out.

At least my eye has gone back to a normal colour and stopped oozing pus.

Running - Trail (Sponds donwnhill) 1:03:54 [3] 11.83 km (5:24 / km) +429m 4:34 / km
ahr:143 max:163 (sick) shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 290 (blue)

Eye a little better (ie not so glued shut in the morning)

Equalled N's CR on the top bit, and only 8s slower overall on the 20min downhill. Pretty pleased with this, since his mile time was 5:03 I think which I think is very similar to my down-very-steep-hill mile time and a minute faster than my flat attempt yday.

Yeah I can't run fast. Although I should be able to do better than this. Next time without a 10k warmup, on a really hot day, on a path with some mud/stones, uphill. Gotta be worth a few seconds.

Running - Road/Track (Jog home) 8:09 [3] 1.51 km (5:23 / km) +28m 4:56 / km

One effort. Can't do hills. Managed to equal Fiona; Nathanael's wife. Probably won't mention that to him.

Nice day, bit windy.

Run with Emma up and over the Hollins. Great views - don't think I've done it in the daylight before.
