Note
(injured) (rest day)

Went to the Grasmere Lakes 5 Day 1, walked 2.4k to the start and back. It was raining a lot.
Really good area/map, did F-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-S. Nav good going slowly, only one time I was certain the control was in the wrong place but actually I was in an unmapped reentrant (mapped as the bit between two hills instead).
Really really wet, but quite fun once you'd accepted that.

Definite shinprovement, jogged a bit and it was ok.

Fell Foot parkwalk - been meaning to walk one for ages. Did 39 mins which was slower than I expected. Still beat 30 people.

Painful, though. Not too bad when walking slowly afterwards.

Cancelled lakes trip next week - sad times. Will still go up for the weekend though.

Gotta compression sleeve today. No idea if it's working or not, but pretty sure I look cool.

Turns out I have some cherry vodka that's quite good too.

I tidied the house and stuff too, I'm not just sitting at home drinking all the time.

Onto the absinthe tomorrow?

Ibuprofen, ice, stretching.

Started drinking Malibu to make myself feel better. It's working. Hic.

Ran out of Malibu. Where has all the rum gone?!?
I feel like that's a quote.

Wandering around Munich - went to the top two things on Tripadvisor (the English Garden - nice, and the Glockenspiel clock - don't bother).
Also bought ibuprofen - has to be from a pharmacy in Germany apparently, but they offered me 50 max strength ones with no problems. I went for 20. Probably should have got 50.

It is extremely good at taking away the pain!

Process of parking at work and getting the train to the airport worked successfully and saved 90% of the ludicrous airport parking cost :)
