With Joe in the fog and drizzle. Recce'd the first section of OCT, which was mostly as I remembered. Then went up Helm Crag a grassier way (faster, and would be much faster on descent) then OCT lines all the way to Scafell. Full waterproofs on near Angle Tarn.

Failed to find a good line off Scafell Pike, ending up cragfast. Needs one more recce. May have to accept the boulderfield.

Met Allen at Great Moss then ran down to Cockley. Had a look at the alternative ascent of the first part up from Cockley and that part looks like a goer.

Felt very tired in general; not in the legs but just lack of sleep after a hard week I think.
