Australia Day - went to the lake and had a look at all the things going on there and afterwards cycled around the lake to Fishwick and back to Campbell.

Sprint Canberra Event 4 - Remembrance Park (Hagaby Loops)

Started with Geoff Stacey. Had a good start, but I've been in this area several times before so I knew the terrain quite good although it was the first time on a sprint map.
After my second first loop (short one) I caught Geoff so we run the loop around the war memorial together or better I could follow him...

Sprint Canberra Event 3 - CSIRO Black Mountain

A bit a bumpy start and get caught several times by olive green (c20) or a wall (c13). Sometimes it was hard to read all the fine details.

But overall an ok race.

Sprint Canberra Event 2 - Redford Collage (Massstart - 38 people)

Was a bit hectic for the first few controls... (Good use case to have a fast SI Stick) but the butterflies spread the field quite good.

Happy with my race. Due the rain some parts were very slippery - did some steps on the bum on the stairs to 22...

Went mostly well... To control 5 (long leg) messed up the beginning but overall ok route.

Definitely need some more fast training session to speed up...

Compass Training with blank map. Hit most of the controls quite well. First two controls I needed to adjust a little bit.
