Hill Running 1:07:47 [4] 6.0 mi (11:18 / mi) +780m 8:03 / mi

Ran from Threkeld Hall up through the hill walkers car park and the burn to the hill foot wall, ran along the wall to Doddick ridge then up the ridge to the summit of Blencathra (46.30). Went along the ridge to Blease Fell then descended back down to the village via the tracks above Blease Farm and back down the burn/road. Misty a bit above 600m and cool on the tops. One of my favourite runs for sure.

Not exactly a rest day! Organising the European Mountain Running Trial at Whinlatter all day so no time (or extra energy!) for a proper run, but busy all day and plenty running about. Great to see the races go well and some fantastic competition. Knackered by evening!

Ran from Fitz Park up Latrigg via the car park, down east ridge, back to car park, summit again then down. Busy afternoon afterwards marking the European Trial course at Whinlatter.

Run down to the coast, a loop round Granton and back with Stewart.

Note - Garmin 210 gubbed having been faltering for over a week now. Second one to break since xmas 2012. Not good!

Usual climb up Nether via the Dasses, descent round south side of Crow Hill to the road, turn left, then up & down Dunsapie Crag from the car park (getting v overgrown with nettles!), then up to Nether from the loch NW corner. Descended anti clockwise round AS to Pipers Walk then up the Crags to finish. Went quite hard on the first climb then legs a bit gubbed for the rest but managed to run climbs ok. Nice and dry for a change.

Ran up WoL to the cyclepath, through Roseburn Park, lap of Carrick Knowe Golf Course clockwise, back through park, Corstorphine Road, Eglinton Crescent, along Queens Street and down Dundas Street to finish, with Marco & Fionna. Had the idea of doing the golf course loop but ended up a bit on the long side so pace increased towards the end! Got caught in monsoon-like rain on the way up the WoL.

Direct route to Corstorphine Hill and back via Queens Street with Stewart, Marco & Fionna. Felt pretty good today, glad the long race hasn't trashed me!
