Went our early due to lunch meetings. Headed to Williamcraigs but did a lap of the golf course on the way. Rather annoyingly the greenkeeper was cutting the grass on the furthest away holes so had to do a shorter loop than planned. Nice cool & overcast.

Did two laps of the Williamcraigs double hill (5k splits 23.07, 21.48). Felt good on an excellent morning for running, sunny and cool. On the brisk side of steady but only really ran the last descent hard as knew there was an easyish segment for the taking. Lost 15secs on 2nd 5k as let farmer out in his car ahead so had to jog about a bit. Good to get in a decent workout.

Annual Mother's Day Family Hill Walk. Decided to head to Glendevon to climb Innerdownie from Glen Sherup. Thought it would be quieter and with wide tracks for avoiding people. Such a nice day, really enjoyed it. Strolled out to Bentie Knowe before turning back. Plenty snow patches kicking about, but unlikely to get back out into the hills I guess, the way things are going.

Williamcraigs Hills out & back again. Another stunning day, perfect running weather, and great views to the northern hills. A good corona virus friendly route as not busy (apart from seeing the same FVO member two days in a row!), and wide tracks/no gates. Do feel a tendency to hold my breath as I run past folk if I can't get the full 2m away (enhances training effect!). Meant to run slower than yesterday but ended up around the same pace. Difficult to go proper easy when not doing sessions.

Run to the golf course hill, up to Williamcraigs, down to the canal, then reversed the route back up the hill, down and home. Great running conditions, very spring-like. Good route which I've never run as an out & back getting in two decent hills.

Run along the loch, up Grange Hill and back via Fishers Brae. Wrapped up well given the earlier torrential hail but was a bit warm at times. Very strong headwind towards the top of the Brae. Fitness better than expected.

Lungs not quite clear enough for running so went a brisk walk along the loch, then headed north up a path towards Grange, a climb I'd never been up somehow (thanks to James H for the idea!). Back via Fishers Brae. Really nice loop, must do it as a run soon.

Run at Callendar Park with the FVH squad. Did the full run with Kane, Alex, Euan, Ben & Callan, with Olivia, Gregor, Graeme & Michael joining us for 15k. Good to run with such a big group for a change. Just looped about in the park with only one full climb to the top. Felt much better than expected, still strong at the end. Nice and sunny mainly, but still breezy. Somehow managed to run over 50 miles this week which doesn't happen often these days.
