I warmed up with a 5.8 on a slightly overhanging wall. Today I was mainly focusing on using my legs and placing them quietly. Then I on sited a very nice 5.10a, with nice holds, on the same wall as the 5.8. Then I tried a very tough 5.10b and I got about halfway up by stopping on nearly every one of the top four clips. Lastly I on cited a comfortable 5.9, where it was quite easy to use my legs and place my feet softly on the footholds. I was quite slow today, but I don't think it was tired, it was more that I just had a bad day and felt down.

I went on a quick run with my dad. It was pretty tough for me though, because it was so early in the morning and I was sore from the weekend.

I was trying a bunch of different climbs. I started out with two very nice 5.9s. Then there was a cool climb that didn't have a grade yet, but I'd say it was probably a 5.9, maaaaybe a 5.10a. It had holds made out of cylinders, and it was really fun. I also belated my dad a bit, and practiced catching falls. Then I tried a 5.10b that Mike climbed on the slightly overhanging wall. I got to the second clip, almost to the third one, but I was burnt out. Then I tried Mike's favorite climb, a 5.10b, and I got 3/4 of the way up until I gave up. It was a climb made of slippers, and it was fun, just challenging. Then I did a 5.9 that was nice, and I was focusing on using my legs. I nearly made it all the way up until I fell, and then on my second push I made it to the top. My last climb was the 5.10a I tried on saturday, but I failed at the same spot.
