last run in the US before I leave. last run with oliver. last time I'm driving the Jeep.

embarrassingly short run. I wanted to do more, but 1. i was running in warm, long pants because all of my good running pants were packed, 2. it was so damn hot and humid, and 3. i haven't been fueling, hydrating, or sleeping properly.

as frustrated as I am with how disappointing this run is, I'm telling myself it's okay, I'm not used to running in the mornings, I've been sleeping less than 6hrs these past few days, and I've been so nauseous this week for no apparent reason. If all goes well, I'll get to run in Reykjavik tomorrow which will be nice (probably won't get any better food or sleep though)

after a 6hr flight i have come to the conclusion that this is okay. I forced myself to go out when I wasn't feeling it and I stopped when even after a bit of running I still wasn't feeling it. it's okay. now i have to believe it

wanted to go to the QOC Mappy Hour, but I thought it was in Leesburg (could've sworn I had checked on Google maps a week or two ago), when in reality it was in Vienna, VA, and by that time it was way too late to go and I would've only had half an hour to stay there. So my mom and I just went to a restaurant by my dad's place and I got to finish packing and cleaning. But it's frustrating that I didn't go, I really wanted to spend time with people from the club before leaving.
