Running-Road 30:16 [2] 4.04 mi (7:29 / mi) +10m 7:26 / mi

First NCXC run of the year. Lincoln, 79th, Meadowbrook, then around the campus. We all took it really easy.

Mapping/setting/control pickup 1:30:00 [1] 2.5 mi (36:00 / mi) +30m 34:43 / mi

Figuring out the areas near the river at Holliday Park w/ mintore. The lidar really helped us identify certain water and contour features.

It was really nice outside, so mintore and I jogged to Marott Park and did some flat trail in the NE and fairly hilly trail in the NW. Home via the Y.

Running-Trail 30:00 [2] 3.75 mi (8:00 / mi) +60m 7:37 / mi
shoes: Asics GT 2000-3

Went for a sorta-hilly-for-Indianapolis trail run on the cross country course. 5.5 min up, 20 min on the course, 4.5 min down. Felt good on the steep but short hills. Hopefully these kinds of continuous runs on grassy, hilly terrain will be a good preparation for Laramie.

Mystic Bay/Monon. Swelling continues to go down. Wrote decently in school today, with reduced pain.

First proper run after the crash. Running arm form is a bit unbalanced and low b/c heavy cast but the legs felt good. Orienteering for the next few weeks will probably focus on sprinting. It is less dangerous but will not really help with hill endurance. Maybe I'll do hill sprints later this week.
