21 degrees f, windchill 8. To be honest, it felt nothing like 8. Maybe more like 15 or 20 when you weren't going into the wind in front of the school. This week, I'm trying not to avoid the cold- the forecast for Saturday's meet in Middle Creek is 19. I must be ready and know what to wear so I don't overdress.

Mapping the northeast extension of the Northh Central map. Part of it was interesting parking lot terrain with a huge potential for parallel errors. I also visited two more remote areas of the NCHS woods and found some unusual features I will not disclose at this moment. They are too interesting, and only the next meet will tell what they are to those who will dare traverse the jungle of thick honeysuckle and junk piles south of the creek. I seem to always find something new every time I walk these jungles with extremely low visibility.
