Running 40:50 [3] 8.29 km (4:55 / km) +139m 4:33 / km
shoes: Nike Vomero 7

Early morning run.
Woke up this morning with some pain in my left knee. around the knee cap. No idea what that is about. Maybe tweaked something on hill reps yesterday. Or maybe slept with my leg in an odd position.

Nice long warm up round the river, then 10x hill reps on the post hill. Times: 1:04, 1:03, 1:05, 1:08, 1:04, 1:06, 1:07, 1:09, 1:14, 1:09. Didn't really feel up for it, and it was quite an effort (maybe it was the large Chinese takeaway I had last night?!). But pleased to do the 10 reps I'd planned to do, and times didn't drop off too much.

Hill reps out the back of Low Pittington up the footpath into the fields. Hills: 4:38, 4:39, 4:42, 4:44 (recoveries just a bit less). It isn't the steepest of hills for all its length, it has a couple of decent bits, and a flatter bit in the middle. Feeling good and strong. Cold, damp and blustery conditions, but I had a good warm-up to get out there, and the most exposed bit of the hill near the top had a tail wind!
