Orienteering 1:01:40 [3] 5.72 km (10:47 / km) +287m 8:37 / km
shoes: VJ Supra

Control hanging for North East Score Champs at Eston (I was planning). Nice day to be out, and great views from the top of the moor, right across all the mist that was swirling around below. The event went well, decent turn out, and people seem to enjoy the fun of the mass start.

Orienteering 33:10 [3] 4.75 km (6:59 / km) +90m 6:23 / km
shoes: VJ Supra

Control collecting. Calf feeling not to bad, although I was taking everything very gently. But I did several times more running today than I've done total since the OMM.

Slightly further round the block. Calf where I tore it slightly better than two days ago. Right Achilles a bit sore (I've had that before) but eased off.

shoes: Nike Vomero 7

First run since tearing my calf at the OMM. The top of the calf where I pulled it wasn't too bad but it was twinging a bit and I was going really slow and careful not to tweak it. Rest of the calf was very tight though, perhaps compensating, maybe I was running a bit funny. Nice to be out again though, even if it was less than a mile round the block.

Note

Physio. Good improvement in the last week. I can properly straight and stretch the leg, and it feels 'tight' rather than hurting. Almost ready to try some jogging.
