Control tagging with Pippa for CLOK NEOA score champs in November. The role of the planner seems to be to go through all the rubbish, to find the nice bits, so the competitors get a nice run on the day. Plenty of bracken and gorse, which the replanned courses can hopefully avoid! Jogging between controls, but lots of faffing around, not really physical training!

Hill reps in Houghall Woods, from bottom of steps, along up middle track and back to top of steps, recovery down steps. Reps 5:01, 5:04, 5:06, 5:10, 5:14, 5:12. Pleased with relatively consistency only dropping a bit each time, but 20s off paces I've done before (May this year, and September last year).

Long run Sunderland Bridge and Croxdale Woods in the dark. Had thought about doing hills in Croxdale, but legs were feeling quite tired, so just took it steady. Saw a fox on the way home.
