Legs tired from yesterday but confident physically for most of this. A few technical wobbles on a couple of shorter legs when I didn't have a clear AP but my planning ahead was good for the second half of the course and the 2 longer legs.

Part of W21E long distance course for the JK 1996 on Coate Moor.
Good practice on 1:15 map and some tough terrain running through brambles, heather and bracken.

2 x 7min/1500m at threshold pace with 2min between, head torch died halfway so running with the group. Felt comfortable.

Sprint pyramid after threshold reps
10s (50s), 20s (40s), 30s (30s), 40s (20s), 50s (10s) and then back down.
2nd 40s really hard as every other rep slightly uphill too. Lots of lactate by the end and it was interesting running in the dark and fog on my own.

Out to Aiselby and just a few laps of the rugby pitches because neither of the teachers were there so I was kind of in charge and this was all I was allowed to do. Did a few strides out towards the end.

Note

Went to physio this evening as my hamstring had been tight on Thursday and Friday but fine during the races at the weekend. Outside of left leg just really tight so need to foam roll it more but nothing that will interfere with my running or training.
