another walk up the Old Man of Coniston and along to Brim fell. About 8km and 600m ascent.

Run up to Levers water from the Youth Hostel. Ended up doing a few mini hill reps to keep rejoining the group. Enjoyed running hard down parts of it with Nick.

Note

Planned on an easy walk along Coniston lake but Nick, Brian and I decided to go up Dow Crag and along the ridge as the weather cleared. 13km and about 800m climb at quite a fast pace.

Long fell walk today up Wetherlam. Very windy on the top so scrambled down to avoid it. About 10km with a lot of height.

horrible weather in Coniston so easy run on the route we walked in the morning down from the Coppermines into Coniston and back. Ran the hill back up harder than planned as Brian hurt his ankle and I went to tell people.

ran between 700-750m per rep.
Reps 1,3,5 with slight headwind and 2,4 tailwind.
Running along track next to home farm.
Felt good and a nice way to end a year's training.

Bit slower on the sprints than usual due to it being quite icy, especially on any downhill sections. Usual 10min warm up and drills, 10min of sprints then run home.
