Really tough course at Thrunton through really physical terrain. Enjoyed it but felt slow the whole way round, 1 major mistake on 3 losing around 6mins. Happy with my position of 6th though as I felt it hadn't gone as well as it could.

5 x 30s (1:30) straight up the wooded bank, really steep and muddy
1 x 30s (1:30) steep hill to finish off.
Felt good after a long day of revision and legs full of lactate at the start of the last fast hill coming off the bank. :)

Really enjoyed the Women's open around York. I lost a bit of time on a couple of legs as I hadn't planned ahead for them, which I need to work on. Also lost a bit on 1 control where I lost concentration, probably about 40s. Overall, I was happy with my run and speed throughout.

Ran the junior course after my race as extra sprint training as it was quite technical. Found it hard to concentrate as I was tired after my 1st run but felt this was relevant for Macedonia as the course was the same length as the sprint race.
