Rather short trail run (which felt like a really long one) with Andy and Brooner from Greenwich down Gore creek, round Berry island and up through Badangi. Was even hotter than yesterday, sweating buckets, swallowing flies all the time... Andy's beer fridge saved the day, cheers!

With 37 degrees, this was a true Summer series (luckily it cooled down to 30 during the race though). I got overheated quite quickly which led me into a stupid 30 sec mistake right at the beginning after which I lost confidence in being able to get the lot and decided to skip two 10 pointers. Which I shouldn't have done as I finished with 580 almost 3 minutes under the limit (think I would have got the lot just in time).

Running wasn't perfect, dragging my legs behind and had to really force myself to run. Easily blaming the hot and dry weather for that :)

Lunch run with Andy around and through Pyrmont with 18x 20-80sec stairs reps. Pretty tired and dehydrated towards the end.

Not sure with the distance, will fix once Andy logs his session :)

Skyzone: 60 minutes jumping on trampolines and then another 60 of wall climbing. Awesome fun, pretty tired afterwards.

Cruisy run with Andy from North Sydney to Spit. Then we met Bull and suddenly the pace was like a minute down, eventually pushing it around 4 min k's in the last bit to Manly. Then I chickened out on ferry and let guys continue without me dragging them back. Good reality check.

The truth is, we should generally run much harder on our shorter long runs (<25km) than we usually do.

First proper run in my new Inov8s, struggled a bit with a blister on my right heel.

3x2 km (or rather 2.15km) with Bart averaging somewhere around 3:50-55 on the lower Mrs. Macquarie Chair loop. Took a lot of (mental) power to keep the pace when running uphill.
