Jog to the start to warm up the knee a bit before off-road running.

In the marshy forest today which was a lot of fun and made the navigation more challenging. Tried to jog most of the course to see how badly the knee would react so I can make a decision about WOC. Got a bit tired so made silly mistakes to 6 and 7.

Caught a chairlift up to the start which was fun, looking down on everybody running below. Jogged the first 9 controls on the plateau then crawled my way down the ski slope to the finish. Knee very sore on the steep downhill.

Sälen

Jogged the first control as it was all uphill. Took me 6.5mins with 90 metres of climb! Bit of jogging/walking until the 5th control, then walked the remainder. Bit more in the forest this time which made the navigation mildly trickier when walking.

Jogged the first control to practice race starts, then walking the rest. Trickier terrain today so was a bit more interesting than yesterday. Also meant I bet a lot more people ;) Knee hated the downhill to 7.

Walked round the Open 8 course. I wasn't last! Pretty easy at that speed but lovely area and was amusing watching all the people running round all over the place.
