One of these years I'll finally run all 4 days of the JK....
I really thought it was going to be this year, but after covid and calf injury, I'm just glad to have even got to race one of the days.

Again, very surprised by the result!

Pretty scrappy in the first half with lots of slight direction issues on 1, 3, 6 and 8. Caught Kirstin at 9 which made me focus a lot more as I was now leading the train, and was clean to the finish, besides one big error to 14.

Terrain was a lot more physical than I was expecting and was roasting in the sunshine.

A pretty clean run but felt horrendous physically (understandably after no hard running training for 5 weeks). Very surprised by the result!

Bad mistake to 7 thinking I could get through a building then having to bail all the way around to the left. Somehow managed to get the 2nd fastest time on the long leg into the park, despite almost having to walk up the hill. Clean through the gardens which I think is what snuck me up a few places as many people made mistakes in there. Good ole Wellington Omax training paying off!
