Very surprised and stoked with the result. Rage running after yesterday which lead to a very sloppy but aggressive approach. Biggest mistake was to 1 where I spent forever flipping the map over back and forth trying to find the control. Then got flustered and lost track of where I was so went down a track too early.
Local knowledge definitely helped, especially since we have run here twice since I moved here!

In the B team as I'm new to the club and haven't really done any races to compare my form to others. Was okay with this and prepared for a more leisurely pace, but it was even worse than I'd hoped! 22mins behind the leaders!! Basically walked the entire course, but even the other pairs around us were walking faster than we were going. No nav required either as it was just a continuous line of people.

Really quite sad at the end as the course was the lovely soft, grassy terrain that I love and definitely could've done really well on.
