Woke up not feeling great (been coming down with a cold all week). Started out fast, just behind Beth for the first km. Then settled into a good pack for the rest of the lap. Saw Jill behind me going past the lake on the 2nd lap so tried to push on to get away and catch the 2 girls about 50m in front. Managed to get past the Haries girl just before the forest but was struggling to get enough air in up the final hill to the finish and she sprinted past.
Good fun though...nicely wet and muddy!
