Exploring Blackford/Braids/Hermitage...I dunno, they all seem like the same place?! Was a cool area after the road slog to get there. Ain't no Rivelin though :p

Arthur's Seat with Renee. Had heaps of fun running round like lil children along all the various tracks and hills. Feeling much better than yesterday. Uphills are still tough though.

Today I was one of those punters who goes to Arthur's Seat to run around the road...and surprisingly I kinda enjoyed it. Took a long, long time for my body to loosen up. And had one close call where I thought the stitch was back to get me. But managed to hold it off to a slight ache.

Note
(rest day)

Travelling from Loch Lomond to Edinburgh. Then spent most of the day unpacking all my stuff into my new flat. :)
Then went for a stroll with Renee along the royal mile to watch some of the festival buskers.

(rest day)

Much needed!! Traveled from Glencoe to Loch Lomond. Wanted to go kayaking around the islands, but neither of our phones worked for an emergency contact so we weren't allowed to. Instead we ticked off another hill climb and walked up to the top of Conic Hill for an awesome view over Loch Lomond and the Highland fault-line.

Walk/jog up the Pap of Glencoe with Renee. Cloud rolled over just as we reached the top...typical :p So sat up there a while until the view appeared again. Then went off the track and climbed almost to the top of Sgorr nam Fiannaidh, where once again the clouds covered the view! 10mins later and we managed to glimpse the awesome sight of the Three Sisters. Painful run/scree scramble back down the hill to finish.

Ben Nevis with Renee. Walked up most of the way, ran a few bits where we could. Then some photos of the cloud from the top, some food (forgot about the celebratory strawberry champagne fudge though) and ran back down. Got quite slow towards the end, as both our legs turned to noodles and couldn't run properly.
