Orienteering race 51:34 [4] 6.45 km (8:00 / km) +210m 6:53 / km

Day 2

Although the position was still about the same I felt like I had a much better race. First 6 controls went really well not losing much time at all, then 7... completely poor, in the right place just frantically searching in the braken. Then thought I was on the wrong spur and went away to try and find my control. Turns out I was in the right place all along. Lost ~ 4:30 mins. Went okay from there losing about a minute on 9 and I was hesitant on other controls near the finish.

Jog from car park to the start, walking parts. Then not much of a walm down.

Day 1

Not great, big time loss on 14 and smaller losses elsewhere. Mainly due to picture and tiredness I think. Not a complete disaster though as there were a few decent controls.

Run into Forres from the Barrs with Tim, Ali, Tam and Nathan. 20 minutes after dinner so we were all dying.

Running 17:54 [4] 4.85 km (3:41 / km)

Run back from Forres. Said we would do sub 20 and got a bit carried away... The first 2km was at 3:30 min/km pace.

Been at the Bof camp for the last week, lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed it! Lots of O training and learnt a lot. I'm probably not going to write about it all though. I will however do an overall review after the 6 days.

In Loch Vaa. Mass start, then trains and then solo. Very fun!!

Forest test again, better and faster. Felt surprising fast.

Plan exersize around Craig Leach.

Little mill plan course. Really tired and missed out the last few.

Picture without compass. Did all of B and most of A. Difficult having no compass when coming out of the control.

Warm down with quite a few people and then an "ice bath".
