I took the dogs to Lubrecht for a skate ski. We did the E loop up and back and then the A loop. The conditions were starting to get slushy, and Bergen was starting to fall behind a bit, so i cut the ski a bit short.

I signed up to help out with Missoula Nordic's trail maintenance day at Lolo Pass. I was armed with a pole saw and loppers and skied out to the start of the Packer Meadow loop. I then spent about three hours cutting branches and clearing room for the groomer to be able to get through. Fairly satisfying work, and feels nice to give back to Missoula Nordic a bit.
My back is pretty sore the next day from reaching up high with the pole saw.

Skied a quick loop at Lolo Pass after dropping off the pole saw and loppers. Skin classic skis. Really good conditions.

I am in charge of three dogs while most of the family is down in Moab for a few days. I took the dogs on this run and carried three different shock collar controllers and a leash for Bergen, who gets skittish sometimes.
We ran partway up Sentinel and then along the flat path towards Crazy Creek. Mix of snow, ice, mud, and dirt made for a very muddy, dog-smelling car afterwards.

From "home" in the beautiful sunshine. The trails on Mt.Sentinel would have made for a passable luge tracks, so I was very happy to have spiky O-shoes on.
