Hanging flags for our Lubrecht event. I got a late start and was a bit stressed. This resulted in me flipping two controls, which was pretty annoying, but since I knew about it before anyone started, it didn't lead to any issues for the participants.
We only had 3 people signed up a week before the event, and 16 the night before, so I was feeling pretty bad about it ahead of time. However, we got a bunch of sign-ups in the morning and few people who showed up without signing up, and ended up with about 35, which I think should be viewed as our new norm, now that there are more activities competing for folks' time.
With Greg and Randy both racing the Advanced course, we even had some nice local competition. I'd love to do some training with those guys through the winter. Both of them have a lot of potential.
Will E was our guest course designer, and the courses were excellent. Everyone had a great time, and there were 0 DNF's!
Lubrecht, as always, was beautiful. I love this venue. Alli did a great job setting up while I was hanging flags. Greg and Randy picked up controls.
