My injured ankle held out OK (wearing a brace). I ran most of the trails, white woods, and rough open with scattered trees, and walked in the green, marshes, and anywhere the footing was treacherous. I aggravated my other ankle on the way to 13.
My nav was not particularly strong today. On #3, I hit the stone wall right on, but didn't see the flag. I wandered a bit south before coming back and spotting the flag from the other side. On #5, the no-longer-distinct vegetation boundary threw me, and I overshot the control by a long ways. On #6, I hit an unexpected wall of thick brush, and second guessed myself. It turns out I had been right on track. I should have stayed closer to the marsh on #11, but I went up into the little patchy light green, and missed the control. On #13, I approached from the knoll to the southeast, and didn't see the reentrant; I went too far and had to double back.
