Got caught in traffic and cut things rather fine.

Catalan Relays

On first leg and had some fun at the start but by around 7 or 8 mins in, I was alone at the front. Naved pretty well round the far end, although did almost make a mistake when I mistook a large cow for a boulder. Had some issues reading the map later in the course (which I've decided to blame on some questionable maps re-scaling that has happened) so just eased off a bit and made sure to get them all in the correct order and without any major issues, and still manged to finish with a good lead in the end which was nice.

The club however had decided that they would make 2 more equal teams to allow for some interesting races, which did make things a bit hairy at times there, but ultimately we finished 2nd with the club's other team in 1st. Prizes for the whole podium was a 6 pack of medium-to-fancy local yogurt each, which maybe isn't the most glamorous prize ever but is definitely one I can make full use of.

Couple of sprints in the afternoon put on to raise some money for a trip to some competition somewhere. Area was small but very good, and although legs were felling pretty tired from earlier, made a concerted effort to bury myself.

Tagged along to a public race happening in parallel with some Barcelona schools competition, since I didn't really have anything better to do. Not so tricky really, but there were some good routes and I had a good time.

Plod back home over the hill. Roasty-toasty and very sunny all the way home, but then within 15mins of getting back it was a intense thunder storm with hail the size of peas.

JK Relay

No real mistakes but got dragged around a bit on routes by other gaffles at the start, so popped out of the woods just behind the leading pack of very speedy boys. Tried my hardest after that, but legs just didn't quite have the required beans after the last few days. First leg relays are always top fun though, so I still managed to have a good time out there.
