A nice little bit of training on the southern part of Loch Vaa doing the Swedish team's pre-WOC trains exercise although just running it a complete course. Good at the start; nailed a few bearings and was running well. But on the second half began to die a bit on the way back through the heather plus the sun was out in full force and my mouth was ridiculously dry. Nav suffered a but although still a really enjoyable session. Had quite a long lie down in the shade before finding the energy to jog back to camp.

SOL3 on Glen Affric. Very tough and technical but navigated well and had no huge time losses. Feeling tired from the start but never really bonked and ended running a good race. Went almost an hour in the middle.without seeing anyone which was pretty cool. Saw Ali on the loop near the end so knew that it was going to be close between us, picked up the pace a bit for the last few and even got a few fastest splits which I'd like to dedicate to Ali. In the end, beat him by just under a minute. Top notch race on a top notch area.

Rerunning the M20L/M21L course on Roseisle from the 6 Days in 2013, but backwards. Nice weather and nice terrain made for a nice session with the boys on the first day if our cheeky little training camp.

Felt like I should do a few intervals. Did 3x 1km, had planned to do 4 but felt so terrible after 2 that I cut it shorter. Completely collapsed after the 3rd.
