Trail Running long 1:30:04 [4] 16.23 km (5:33 / km) +578m 4:43 / km

Long run following the old route of the Duncolm hill race. Started with Dad and Emma for most of the climb but split before the flat part across the top. Back down again and up to the trig point at the Slacks and from there down the long was to Old Kilpatrick. Large amount of climb was tough. Right knee began to feel sore on the descent but not too badly. Tough underfoot most of the way as the ground was incredibly marshy. Lovely weather, if not a little windy on the top. Definitely need to run this route again.

Short hill reps. 7x shallower hill(17 seconds ish) [50 seconds] followed by 7x steeper hill (23 seconds ish) [60 seconds]. Felt good throughout and kept up the pace and effort. Got completely soaked by the heavy rain.

Clyde hill run round the 356 anticlockwise. Very wet and marsh underfoot the whole way round, especially on the top. Fell over into a stream before the long climb to the the so was freezing most of the way round.

Run round Bearsden and Milingavie. Feeling prett tired initially but felt better by the end.

Finished off with 10 short hill reps (about 20 seconds effort [60seconds]). Did the reps on the hill by the Loch on the rough path. Felt tired by the last few but managed to keep up the pace.

8x 1km reps (actually slightly more) [85 seconds]. Tough session as still wasn't fully recovered from the weekend. Pace for reps all hovering around 3:30 mins/km. Began to really struggle on the last 3 or so reps but kept up the effort.
