Scottish Unis Champs at Heriot-Watt
Not feeling very fast after yesterday. Went out ahead of the pack but made quite a few stupid mistakes in the first part of the course, particularly taking a bad route on the long leg to the spectator. After that I was with the pack and just tried to hold on through the confusing gaffling. Almost mispunched on 22 as I punched the wrong gaffle but checked my code and went round the green to the right one. Not a great run but at least I didn't mispunch.

Long run back from Herriot Watt with Ali, Tam and Mikey going via the Pentlands. First few km to the hills were a bit of a slog, so glad we were in a group to chat along. Then a few climbs in the Pentlands, trying to keep ahead of the bad weather we could see coming, and just as it was getting dark we got back to civilisation. Bit of a grind back along the roads back to the city centre with a lot of guess work on the nav. Really tired by the end but a lot of fun.
