Orienteering race 53:15 [4] 4.1 km (12:59 / km)
ahr:126 max:146 shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 230

H4 course at Yetar Spring event, gps 4.86kms.
Messed the first by not climbing out of the start, the second was in a long gully with nothing to attack from without taking a wide deviation downhill. At 3 I tried to approach carefully but still missed and then on a long leg to 4 I got the first half right, to a saddle, but then got caught in what was mapped (20 years ago) as light green but has grown quite a bit; no trouble finding the control after escaping the thick stuff. Good for 5 and 6, a little wide at 7, did 8-10 well, then checked out a spur before 11 which looked like a high point. Reasonable result considering the errors, think I'm not concentrating hard enough.
