Fumbled the bag. Missed my planned second last control, had to press the panic button and race back to the finish, got there a minute late. Missed out on 40 points + 20 from the penalty. Was 40 points down on winner, but not winning is a direct result of my planning and execution. Not pushing as hard as yesterday, was mentally difficult to do.

Suffered from planning a line that visited all controls that I didn't know I had no chance of completing. Could've been a lot stronger if I had been more tactical and skipping bad 10s. Was good fun though, would do again but won't actively seek it out.

No reason not to race this. Want to race cleaner, so need to get into race state to see what goes wrong. No significant mistakes. I'll analyse and think a bit harder.

Felt completely sapped. Pressed for time on warmup by today's flight, but I think the primary culprit was the heat and humidity. Even at 9am it was just oppressive and I was drenched in sweat. Dropped the last 8 to a 4 in response to the pace and feel. Maybe a bit mentally weak there but we go again.
