Final. Wow I was knackered. Quite a bit hillier this afternoon and boy did I feel it! Tried my best to mp again too but realised something was wrong when the exit from the control didn't make sense and went back to punch the right control. Finished 8th which is exactly where I expected to finish tho so can't really be too upset.

British Sprint Relays at Skelmersdale. 4th leg for EUOC team of Ellie, Peds and Mairi. Had a pretty scrappy run really which was a bit frustrating. Went out in 6th and overtook a few people but was unsure what position I was in. Was chasing Fiona Eades through the spectator control and got told we were 3rd and 4th so turned the gas on and managed to get past her at the last control! However turns out I was one of a large field (half of the elite teams!!!!) who missed a control out in the housing estate... Was on a straight line in a complicated bit of map and just didn't see it:((( Actually so raging with myself but also annoyed at the planner as it was clearly pretty dodgy given how many people did the exact same thing!

Lol its the sprint champs this weekend and I have barely been running nevermind anything fast, so thought whats there to lose lets do a wee sesh and see where I'm at. Did 1,2,3,2,1 (1) round the meadows and was happily surprised by the paces given I felt like I was taking it pretty steady: 4:07, 4:08, 4:26, 4:08, 3:31. Obviously full out sprinted the last one bc i was enjoying running fast again:))) But made me feel like i wont be as bad this weekend as originally expected.

Crianlarich munnies with Frey<3 A classic us day out in that we were in the cloud with gale force winds and all the other hills seemed to be in the sun... The downhill was a bit shit and I kept falling over so was a rather chill one.
