Virtual TdF Etape Stage 1, Mountain stage. Didn't race it, just span it out with a few efforts at the top of the mountain and for the sprint near the finish which I got 3rd woman on! Lots of fun with 4000 people doing it.

Blackford MapRun, Short Green. Fancied something different so went for an enjoyable plod with a 'map'. Felt like a bit of a punter running round with my phone in my hand lol but just ignored the haterz and got on with it. Took the big W, beating about 5 old people:)))

Weird route today to keep things spicy. Meadows, Meadowfield park, KF, Calton, Princes St Gardens, Grassmarket and back. Grim and wet so was slipping all over the place in my hokas, especially on the wooded paths in Meadowfield and down the seat path. Good plod with a slightly faster km at the end again.

8,6,4,2,1,1 (all with 2 rest). Roughly had the aim to hit 4:40s, 4:30s, 4:20s, 4:10s and 4:00s. Got a bit stuck at 4:30s for the 8, 6 and 4 but just about managed to get faster for each.... 4:37, 4:30, 4:27, 4:05, 3:51, 3:32. Nicely picked it up for the short reps at the end however stomach was on the verge of chucking up my breakfast lol just the sign of a good session right? Very happy with the grind today:)))

Apparently I am a fair weather cyclist and it sure was gross for most of today so hopped on the Zwift bandwagon and am going to try make the most of my 7 day free trial! Fairly easy spinning around Watopia, went for the sprint on the last lap and earned myself the green jersey hehe I think I'm already obsessed....
