Joined the HCC clubrun for the first time. Set off with A's (easiest group) and soon realised it was going to be slow.... Not toooo bad on the flats, they were just miles behind on the climbs! Anyway, stayed with them to the windmills where I parted and headed back over to Hade Edge to cheer Jack on and see him finish his race! Looked rather brutal:/ then a gentle spin home as jacks warm down. Lovely day!

Squad training at Wombwell. Wu and two exercises focussing on going straight on a compass bearing. First exercise was on a map with some features missing, so I had to rely on the bearing and not the features. Definitely got better.

Aiming off and attack points. Plus a little race against Laura. All good.

Orienteering race 5:18 [3] 0.9 km (5:53 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Relay last leg with Laura and Seb. Felt fast but not too fast so that I was still in control. Felt good. Brought home the win!

Jack dragged me out as he needed a nice easy ride. Felt alright (as I should after two days of nothing) and so I guess it was quite fun. Over to Penistone, along the TPT for a little and back home, via a stop at Yummy Yorkshire for some ice cream!

Accidentally turned up on the night of the Club 5 so kind of had to do it. Kept up with Wim for most of the first half and then held a steady distance behind her. Fairly pleased with the time considering it was very spontaneous, my warm up consisted of a sprint across the field to get to the start on time and it was my third form of exercise for the day.
