Note
(rest day)

Just feeling lethargic all day

Sunday Apr 3, 2016 #

12 PM

Running warm up/down 5:30 [2] 0.83 km (6:38 / km)

To start

Orienteering race 1:05:40 [3] 5.89 km (11:09 / km) +200m 9:32 / km

Holme Fell, 4.2km. Absolutely horrific run (bar the first three controls which were wonderful) but the sun was out and I was having far too much fun considering my total inability to navigate! Also bought some new Integrators because my VJs are slowly falling apart..

12 PM

Running warm up/down 9:04 [2] 1.51 km (6:00 / km)

Up to start.

Orienteering race 52:37 [3] 4.91 km (10:43 / km) +215m 8:47 / km

Tarn Hows middle distance, 4.1km. Generally alright just very slow. Few misses here and there but nothing too major. Mud underfoot made it hard going in places.

Running warm up/down 6:14 [2] 0.92 km (6:47 / km)

Down.

Friday Apr 1, 2016 #

2 PM

Running 39:07 [3] 6.64 km (5:53 / km) +180m 5:11 / km

Massive headwind up the hill meant I was barely moving... Such a struggle. Nice on the way back down. Little leg loosener/revision break.

Note

Saw Kim about my calves and, surprise surprise, I'm just very tight everywhere in my legs and I basically need to do some stretching every night. LETS DO THIS! (She says enthusiastically in an attempt to motivate herself...)
2 PM

Cycling 1:40:00 [3] 33.41 km (20.0 kph) +550m

Finally got a bike :D so obviously had to go on a test ride.... Out to Hudds, Marsden and back through Meltham with dad. Sooo warm!

6 PM

Strength and Conditioning 20:00 [2]

Usual garage. No rest day for me!
7 PM

Running warm up/down 10:45 [3] 1.7 km (6:19 / km)

Up. Feeling v slow and heavy, unsurprisingly.

Running hills 5:13 [5] 1.2 km (4:21 / km) +50m 3:36 / km

7 x Bradshaw, but John decided to make one 100m or so longer. That was a real struggle. Quads were very tired so I plodded along at the back for every rep. Was going to cut some out but decided I may as well do all of them so I didn't get cold.

Running 9:17 [3] 1.68 km (5:32 / km)

Down.
