Local Claro event on Lindley Moor (actually a forest?!) Short Blue - 4.1km
Pretty grotty area not gonna lie.... Not going fast but navigation was good! Up until #9 anyway:/ between two boulders in a pretty vague patch. Nice and runnable forest so I took and bearing and went straight. Didnt find it. Back out to path and tried again - still no control. This woman said she'd been in and out about 5 times with a bearing and pacing it! Eventually found it but was definitely not where I was expecting it to be.... (Lost ~9 minutes:/) Overheard someone at the download saying that it was on the right feature but the feature wasn't mapped correctly - great -.-

Edit: Talking to dad and sounds like they might take #9 out... He took 14 minutes to find it (and so did Heather Monro!!) Was definitely about 100m in the wrong place which makes me feel slightly better ;)

Ran to Netherthong primary school to play basketball with some mates. Straight down the main road but wasn't really after the distance..

After 2.5hrs of basketball.
Bit more uphill on the way back and pretty tired after the basketball.. And in the dark and drizzle!

So so sad because I forgot my watch :((( Feel so bare without it now D: But mum had the time so I've just guessed the distance:) Easiest run that the Tigers group does I think.. Wasnt long or hard! Kind of glad though because I've felt tired and tight in the hammys all day! Good loosener I guess ;) And great evening to get out!!

Giants (6:30-7:30). Started with a 6minute run, some squats, 30s plank and 30s leg scissor thing. All pretty easy, apart from the squats - ow. Then just drills and boring stuff. No matches because only 5 people turned up :/

Then stayed on to train with the seniors (7:30-9). Drills for first hour then matches for last half an hour. Nothing hard or particularly sweaty tbh... But much better than U16 - and I actually know people in seniors :D Will probably train with them every week :)

School PEP. First 'continuous' training session. Easy first session so I can make it harder next time. Did 2x10mins with a 5 minute rest in between. Chose a "terrain" loop to make it more specific to orienteering ;) Basically went through a strip of trees, up the banking and along the banking back to the start! Not exactly tough underfoot but it was nicer than just running loops of the field....

Harriers. Back to John's sprint group for Tuesday;) First half we did 10x120m with 30s rest between. Then had like 10 mins rest which I sat on the floor and stretched for. Then did a completely random 40m backward run?! And finished with 5x60m sprints which were quite easy tbh... Times for 60s were: 8, 7, 8, 8, 8.
