Orienteering race 38:15 [4] *** 5.15 km (7:26 / km) +120m 6:39 / km
ahr:186 max:197 spiked:18/18c slept:8.5

Pippingford UKOL - Green, 4.6km, 120m
Only a slight overlap in the area with last night. Enjoyed the race once again - really nice area! Navigation was awesome! Lost maybe a maximum of 20 seconds on any one control, mainly from being hesitant and stopping too early. Surprised at how well i managed to run considering I felt really tired after last night! Finished in the lead by 12 minutes, and then stayed in first, winning by nearly 2 minutes :))
Now got a week in south Wales by the coast and some sand dunes, to relax and maybe go on a few runs..... ;) Plus dad has some awesome training planned on an area that's exactly like the JK, so really looking forward to that :D

Orienteering race (Night) 45:29 [4] **** 5.48 km (8:18 / km) +130m 7:25 / km
ahr:183 max:197 spiked:17/21c slept:9.0

British Night Champs - W16, 4.2km, 130m
Was feeling pretty good before i started! Had a long journey down so legs needed to get moving once i arrived, but we got there so early i had plenty of time. Took the first control easy and made it simple which was a good plan. Overshot number 3 wasting over a minute -.- Then started navigating to 9 from 7?! Soon realised, fortunately, but probably lost another minute... Then I was just really scrappy on loads of controls and lost lots of small amounts of time here and there.
Couldve saved 5-10 minutes from scrappiness, but i was still pretty pleased with my time - Dad expected me to take an hour?! :O no confidence in me seriously....
Ended up 2nd :)) only.. 11 minutes..... behind Pippa :/ but was a minute in front of Chloe so very happy with that ;D Looking forward to running in the area - in the daylight - again tomorrow! Really enjoyed it :))

Netball (Giants) 1:00:00 [2]
slept:9.0

First hour just static drills in the nice warm sports hall, trying to pass overhead into the circle.
Then went into the freezing barn and did some harder drills: 'Anywheres' in pairs, then in a three so one person was running around the court - but then had to go straight into working (rather than feeding) to make it harder. Then did some more running around the court (i actually tried unlike everyone else so lapped them all twice....) Then went into matches - played at centre :)

School PE (Cricket Academy) 1:30:00 [1]

Netting. Had a girls net with just the 4 of us so lots of bowling and a had a decent length bat :)
5 PM

Running 24:59 [3] 4.33 km (5:46 / km) +111m 5:07 / km

Up the road over Digley to Holme, then straight back home down the main road. Only a tiny run and partly with mum, but needed to seriously de-stress after such a bad day: no sleep, mental breakdown at school and then got a detention.... Felt so much better afterwards :)

ahr:183 max:200 slept:8.5

Yeahh got out for a run :D feel so good for doing it :))) planned a decent length route with some nice hill climbs in it... Ran up the first two major ones (and rewarded myself with a little 30 second rest/walk at the top) and managed a lot of the third, but it was like a constant 1km up hill so ended up walking the steepest section ;) however, uphill always means downhill, so I had lots of fun bombing it back down the hills through all the trees and mud!! :D good run - just need to persuade myself to do it more often! ;)
