Felt good after a long sleep :D No real mistakes apart from maybe running down the hill a bit too far out of 7 because I hadn't quite worked out where I was meant to be going... Calves were really tight on the hill leg so walked that:/ but they were alright for the vast majority of he course, only slowing me a bit on some hills and the long legs across the open section.... Had a good, fast (for me) race and ended up 3rd behind AliceR and Pippa. Beat Hannah C-H and Laura King by 2 mins so pretty pleased! And SYO won as well :D

Day at Doncaster Dome with Imogen so nothing really intense but lots of swimming and lots of ice skating :D plus seeing Frozen at the cinema and a bit of spectating at mums table tennis comp ;)

Indoor 8-a-side girls cricket tournament at Headingley all day. 3 group matches which we won all of (although the last one only by 1 run.......) Then lost in the semis by 16 runs:( i retired at 15 in 3 of the matches and had to go back in in the semi match but just couldn't get enough from the last over!

One of 3 year 10s and we had to play with the year 9s so we ended up playing an 8 minute match, 3 v 6 and they got to roll on subs!! Thrashed them 6-0 though :D Played some shorter 5 v 5 as well.

Focussed on 'Fitness For Netball' tonight so no actual netball just a load of fitness! There were three different sections, one in each third of the court.
First section was split into three again - spending 5 mins on each. Firstly skipping. Then passing while on a wobble board, so 50 passes on two feet, 50 on the left leg and 50 on the right. Then passing while balancing on an upside-down bench! My three managed about 200 passes, however they fell off about 10 times each, while i stayed on the whole time :D
Middle third was a continuous circuit thing. So we had ladders, hurdles, diagonal runs, a sprint and a walk section in a circuit that we did continuously for 15 mins.
And the final third......... Jog, jog, sprint, sprint across the width of the court for 15 mins! This was shattering and especially after doing the circuit just before!
We probably had about 3 mins rest between each third.
Overall, very good and useful session!!

Some drills for first half an hour. Focussing on sprinting forwards for the ball so pretty tiring after doing it almost none stop -.-
